Karibu Tours Rwanda Your Travel and Tour Agency

Uwayo and Cathy opened Karibu Tours Rwanda in January 2006, and run their company on a personal basis.  Each guest is met by either Uwayo or Cathy at the airport and together we will go through your safari plan to ensure you get maximum exposure to Rwanda’s culture and life.

Our driver guides are selected for their honesty and integrity as well as their driving abilities and knowledge of Rwanda.  No matter which itinerary or adventure you may choose, be assured, you will be well informed of all the attractions and hidden treasures Rwanda has to offer.

Karibu Tours is based in Musanze District in the North Province of Rwanda, only 12 kms from Volcanoes National Park’s “Mountain Gorillas”, but has full knowledge of all Rwanda’s Provinces and Districts.

Is your dream to trek gorillas?

From the deep forest of Nyungwe over the mountains of Volcanoes National Park to the sandy beaches of Lake Kivu.  We would like to welcome you to our world of discovering all that Rwanda has to offer.  Let us design an adventure for you, and together, explore the most beautiful country in Africa.

VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARC

Volcanoes National Park, named after a string of magnificent peaks that range from 2,500 to 4,500 meters (8,000 to 14,850 feet) in altitude, is well known as the home of the largest wild population of rare mountain gorillas.
An exhilarating trek through the cultivated foothills of the Virungas offers stirring views in all directions.  Then, abruptly, the trail enters the national park, immersing trekkers in the mysterious intimacy of the rainforest, alive with the calls of colorful birds and chattering of the rare golden monkey, and littered with fresh spoor of the mountain’s elusive populations of buffalo and elephant.  Through gaps in the forest canopy, the magnificent peaks are glimpsed, easily accessible and among the highest in Africa, beckoning an ascent.
